Longmont Water Week 2025
Sunday, June 8th - Saturday, June 14th, 2025
Colorado Water Stories is excited to partner with the City of Longmont Water Department, The Watershed Center, Dandelion Arts Collective, and Ollin Farms on this year’s events.
Sunday, June 8: Longmont Water Fair ~ 9:15am-12:30pm ~ Dickens Farm Nature Area
2nd Annual Longmont Water Fair! A free, family-centered event blending science, art, and education to celebrate our local water using hands-on science activities, creative art projects, live performances, and conversations with local water leaders.
Monday-Friday, June 9-13: Water Dances Kids’ Camp ~ 1:30pm-4:00pm- Willow Farm Park
Water Dances Camp is a 5-day camp for children entering grades 1-3. The camp is led by Dandelion Collective & Anima Arts, who are experts in youth arts education. The camp takes place at Longmont’s Willow Farm Park, where there is ample space for outdoor play and access to water via a ditch that runs through the park. Each day has a water theme; guest water leaders are invited to work with the children. The children will also learn a water-honoring dance that they will perform with the larger community at the final event of the week. Registration opens in April through the Longmont Recreation Center.
Saturday, June 14: Our Water: Gratitude & Giving Back ~ 10am-1pm ~ Ollin Farms
The day involves a creek-side restoration volunteer hour, five stations operated by partners focused on water and nature education for kids, and the Global Water Dances Project. The Global Water Dances Project links us with hundreds of people around the globe dancing for water on the same day. Our Water Dances will feature the children from the day camp performing alongside professional dancers, in and near Left Hand Creek as it passes through Ollin Farms.
